Geenex Solar: A big thanks to Geenex Solar for giving EEDRC a $5,000 donation, which helped us meet our Phase III payment to Heather Slane. Right now Geenex is developing solar farms in Halifax County - and they have been fully supportive of the communities. This donation was presented to Gerry Middleton on July 25, 2019, after the Gala, but just in time for Phase III. When the Pandemic hit and our fund raising was stalled, Golden LEAF stepped in and helped us to finish paying for our historic designation study. But we couldn't have done it without the community.
